THE THREE GRANTHIS

With an energetic look at the human system,  there exists The Linga, or Granthi which are locks within the body that bind energy.

In order to achieve the highest aspect of your given life experience, it is said that one must unlock these binds to free the energy stored within them, propelling ourselves to our highest achievements and, ultimately, Divinity.

The Three Granthis is what will be covered in this page.

THE THREE GRANTHIS

These energy bound locks are housed within the MULADHARA, ANAHATA and AJNA chakras. As KUNDALINI RISES, these locks often dissolve.

In the root chakra is functions the Brahma Granthi.  Its implication is attachment to the material world, to physical pleasures and excessive selfishness. It ensnares the power of tamas. Tamas is defined as in Vedanta, the element or mode of prakriti associated with lethargy, darkness, and ignorance.

In the heart chakra is where the operation of the Vishnu Granthi takes place. Its association is with bondage or emotional attachment and attachment to people and inner psychic visions.  This Granthi is connected with rajas. Rajas is defined as the tendency towards passion, assertiveness and ambition.

In the region of the ajna chakra/third eye chakra is where the Rudra Granthi functions. Its association is with the attachment to Sindhis, psychic phenomena and our self concepts as individuals. It is in the surrender of dualistic thinking of the ego and the transcendence to oneness to further progress spiritually.
